Memorial Services for Don Tipton

On Saturday, November 10, 2007, there will be a memorial service to celebrate the life of our beloved friend and fellow motorcyclist, Donald Tipton, who was taken from us this past Sunday, November 4, 2007 by a reckless driver who was speeding, changed lanes hit and killed Don.

The celebration of his life will take place at 2:00 PM, November 10, 2007 at the James Crowder Funeral Home, 401 Texas Avenue, in La Marque, Texas, Phone # 409-935-2401.

Not only was our friend Don taken from us, but we have also lost his talent, you see, Don was blessed with a wonderful gift. He was a very talented artist who used metal as his canvas. His work was awesome !!!! We will have some of his beautiful work on display at the funeral home.

We are asking for as many motorcyclist as we can get to please join us on their bikes to not only celebrate Don's life, but to help us make a statement about laws in Texas that allow people to hit a motorcyclist and get by with it. That is what is happening in this case. So far there will only be a traffic violation issued.......A traffic violation issued for a life taken.......Doesn't seem right does it?

We are asking that the local news stations be present to help us get the word out. We need to have hundreds of bikers to come in on their bikes to the service, whether you personally knew Don Tipton or not, he was a biker!

Don loved riding his bike. He was a kind, soft spoken, gentleman who never bothered anyone. He loved sharing his talent with people by taking what they had in their head and putting it on their bike.......He loved life and someone took that away from him.

We need to make a stand for Don, we need justice for Don, we need the bikers of Houston and surrounding cities to unite at Don's memorial so that the media can show that justice has to be done....It's the right thing to do. Please help us make a stand, Please do it in honor of Don..A man who loved to just ride his bike!

Milburns History

I’ve been painting since the 70’s. Learned custom from dad and airbrush from mom and art school. I’ve won more show trophies that I can count or remember. I’ve painted everything from Driving Helmets to Custom Horses on Coin Machines to the 1st Rocket Logo before released for Mattress Mac on his ZR1 Vette. Done race cars, race boats, 18 wheelers, circus equipment, some of AJ Foyt’s cars, ZZ Top drums and many more artist guitars & equipment. Designed album covers, stage backdrops for theaters, biplanes, jets, Evil Kneivel & Gary Wells bikes. Most of my paint staff learned all under me or my other staff members.

We mold in frames, custom sculpture & repair dents. Milburns has taken 2 cars & put together one many a time. We toured shows with 1st Extended Cab Pickup ever before made and started extended revolution. Made limos out of 2 pickups (1st in country). All estimates on site by Milburns.

We’ve been doing body work on regular cars & trucks since 72’ and the only company to guarantee matches on paint. We take pride in our workmanship as do the employees. All painters are PPG trained and factory authorized. Body men are I-Car certified. We take pride in our “old school” metal work.
